Oscar's is at the western-most tip of the Isla Cuale, right where the Rio Cuale dumps into the Pacific ocean. In fact, if you've walked the Malecón and crossed the bridge over a river with the ocean on one side, and a river on the other, you've seen this very special restaurant. The food is good; the music, delightful; and, the views are absolutely beyond compare. Seldom is lunch or dinner crowded or noisy… so, it’s a perfect place for a conversation with friends, or for a tête-à-tête with a loved one. In fact, the locals will tell you that Oscar's is one of the very best places in Puerto Vallarta to celebrate a birthday or an engagement ...or even to have a wedding. Believe me, if you stop for nothing more than margaritas, guacamole, and totopos, I promise you'll leave with everlasting memories. I do every time... - Michael F.
