Restaurant Oscar’s is the best place in town!

They lie. When they talk about shrimp there is nothing small about them. I have had large shrimp before but these were HUGE. Often with large shrimp they are tough and not so good but these were very nice. The servers were very attentive but not bothering us. They would look at our drinks but didn't interrupt us. Highly recommended!

Oscar's is at the western-most tip of the Isla Cuale, right where the Rio Cuale dumps into the Pacific ocean. In fact, if you've walked the Malecón and crossed the bridge over a river with the ocean on one side, and a river on the other, you've seen this very special restaurant.

The food is good; the music, delightful; and, the views are absolutely beyond compare. Seldom is lunch or dinner crowded or noisy… so, it’s a perfect place for a conversation with friends, or for a tête-à-tête with a loved one. In fact, the locals will tell you that Oscar's is one of the very best places in Puerto Vallarta to celebrate a birthday or an engagement ...or even to have a wedding.

Believe me, if you stop for nothing more than margaritas, guacamole, and totopos, I promise you'll leave with everlasting memories. I do every time...

Every year when we visit PV, we make a point of going to Oscar's. We found it by accident and fell in love. The restaurant is beautiful, right on the river where it flows into the ocean. It is a nice peaceful break from the all inclusive hotels. Food is excellent and the service is attentive without being pushy. Great place for a romantic dinner and watch the sunset.

We arrived in Puerto Vallarta one week prior to the wedding and Lucy and Oscar’s Restaurant treated us like family. Some examples include allowing us to have meetings with all our various vendors at their restaurant, assisting with event logistics outside of their mandate and much more. The day of the wedding, Lucy helped us plan a flawless event. Everything was above expectations and this could not have happened without her. The waiters and bartenders provided exceptional service to our guests. Everyone loved the venue, including our Mexican, Canadian and American guests.

Oscar’s Restaurant is a hidden gem and my husband and I, as well as our family recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to have their dream wedding become a reality. Thank you so much Lucy and Oscar’s Restaurant.

This place is very special; lovely garden where the wedding took place. Amazing table settings. Waiters very friendly. Surf and turf for 80 people and fantastic tequila. Very sophisticated; very friendly.  Highly Recommended!

Have been visiting Oscar's for over 30 years, always awesome service. Margaritas are the best in a beautiful location. Tequila tasting for tequila lovers, there Anejo is some of the best we have ever had!

The service is very good and the food is good. However, if you have the time take part in the tequila tasting and tour. The tequila is the best we tried in Puerto Vallarta, and Javier gives a great tour. We will return next year for more tequila.
