Each guided tasting is led by knowledgeable guides who explain how tequila is made, from harvesting the agave to aging in oak barrels, and teach you how to taste it properly and recognize its aromas, textures and finishes.

Where can I do a tequila tasting in Puerto Vallarta?
At Oscar’s Agave Garden, the garden of Oscar’s Distillery next to Restaurant Oscar’s on Isla Río Cuale #1, in downtown Puerto Vallarta, about 5 minutes from the Malecón. Please note that tastings take place in the Agave Garden, not inside the restaurant.
Is there a free tequila tasting?
Yes. You can walk in to Oscar’s Distillery for a free complimentary tequila tasting, no reservation needed.
What are the distillery’s opening hours?
Oscar’s Distillery is open every day from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm. Walk in for a free tasting any time until 5:00 pm (last walk-in), or book a guided tasting in advance.
How much does a guided tequila tasting cost?
The Classic Tequila Tasting is $900 MXN per person (plus 16% tax if an invoice is required) and the Tequila Connoisseur Tasting is $1,400 MXN per person.
What spirits are included in the tasting?

Yes. You can eat at Oscar’s Restaurant before or after your tasting, or order from the restaurant menu and have your food brought to the distillery. The Connoisseur Tasting also includes gourmet food pairings.
Can I buy tequila bottles at the distillery?
Yes. Grand Bay by Oscar’s tequilas are sold at the distillery, and we can keep your bottles for you or deliver them to your hotel or villa.
