One team, one place and one point of contact: your ceremony in our garden, cocktail hour by the river, dinner under the palapa and the rest of your wedding weekend, all planned and run by the Oscar’s events team. And there is no venue fee.
A Central, Private Location in the Heart of Puerto Vallarta
Oscar’s is on Isla Río Cuale, in the center of Puerto Vallarta and just 5 minutes from the Malecón, so your guests can get here easily from any hotel or vacation rental in town.
We are not a hotel and we are not on a public beach: your celebration won’t share space with other hotel guests, and there are no beach vendors walking through your ceremony or your photos.
No room block required. Oscar’s is surrounded by hotels and vacation rentals for every budget, and because we are not a hotel, we never ask that a percentage of your guests book rooms with us. Your guests stay wherever they like and get here in minutes.
And compared with a private villa, you get a real wedding venue: gardens and a palapa designed for celebrations, our own kitchen and bar, full furniture and an events team on site. All the comfort of a venue, with the charm of a riverside garden.
How We Plan Your Wedding
- Tell us about your wedding. Send us your date and guest count and we prepare a personalized quote with the options you want.
- Design your celebration. Choose your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and open bar, plus extras like floral décor, music and fireworks (quoted on request).
- Book your date. Sign your service agreement and pay in installments: your first payment after signing and your final payment one month before your wedding.
- Fine-tune the details. We confirm your menus, timeline, ceremony setup, dietary needs and kids menu with our events team.
- Enjoy your wedding day. Our team handles setup, service, timing and teardown so you and your guests can simply celebrate.

Do you offer wedding planning in Puerto Vallarta?
Yes. Weddings at Oscar’s include an in-house wedding planner who plans and coordinates everything provided by Oscar’s: ceremony, menus, bar, setup, timeline and your wedding weekend events.
Can I plan my wedding remotely?
Yes. Most of our couples plan their wedding from home: many visit Puerto Vallarta only once before the big day, and some we meet in person just a day or two before their wedding. Your planner works with you by WhatsApp and email, from your quote to your wedding day.
Is there a venue fee?
No. Oscar’s does not charge a venue fee. You only pay for the ceremony, food and beverages you choose.
Why choose Oscar’s instead of a beach, hotel or villa wedding?
Oscar’s is centrally located on Isla Río Cuale, 5 minutes from the Malecón, so guests arrive easily. It is not a hotel, so you won’t share the space with other hotel guests, and it is not on a public beach, so there are no beach vendors during your ceremony. Compared with a villa, you have gardens and a palapa designed for weddings, our own kitchen and bar, full furniture and an events team on site.
Who prepares the food for the wedding?
Our own chefs. Oscar’s is a restaurant open every day of the year, so your wedding dinner comes from the same kitchen that serves our guests daily, not from an outside caterer. If you are in Puerto Vallarta before your wedding, come dine with us and taste the food for yourself.
Do my guests have to stay at a specific hotel?
No. Oscar’s is not a hotel, so there is no room block or minimum number of guests that must stay with us. We are close to many hotels and vacation rentals in downtown Puerto Vallarta, so your guests can choose where to stay.
Do you coordinate outside vendors?
Vendors you book through Oscar’s, like DJ, photography, transportation, floral décor or fireworks, are coordinated by your planner. You can also bring your own DJ or florist with an outside vendor fee; vendors you hire on your own are not coordinated by Oscar’s.
How do payments work?
After you sign your service agreement, you pay in installments, with your final payment one month before your wedding.
