Everything happens in one place: your ceremony in the garden, cocktail hour by the river, dinner in our palapa and a party that goes into the night. It is easy to reach for local and destination guests, just 5 minutes from the Malecón, and we don’t charge a venue fee: you only pay for the ceremony, food and drinks you choose. For weddings of 70 guests or more, the venue is private at no extra cost.

A Central, Private Location in the Heart of Puerto Vallarta
Oscar’s is on Isla Río Cuale, in the center of Puerto Vallarta and just 5 minutes from the Malecón, so your guests can get here easily from any hotel or vacation rental in town.
We are not a hotel and we are not on a public beach: your celebration won’t share space with other hotel guests, and there are no beach vendors walking through your ceremony or your photos.
No room block required. Oscar’s is surrounded by hotels and vacation rentals for every budget, and because we are not a hotel, we never ask that a percentage of your guests book rooms with us. Your guests stay wherever they like and get here in minutes.
And compared with a private villa, you get a real wedding venue: gardens and a palapa designed for celebrations, our own kitchen and bar, full furniture and an events team on site. All the comfort of a venue, with the charm of a riverside garden.

Our property offers three spaces that can be combined for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, whether you are planning an intimate ceremony or a large destination wedding.
Distillery Garden
Perfect for larger weddings, ceremonies, and cocktail hours, the Distillery Garden features a charming open-air setting surrounded by lush greenery. This spacious area creates an elegant atmosphere ideal for welcoming guests and celebrating special moments.
Main Garden
For smaller gatherings, the Main Garden offers a cozy yet sophisticated environment. This space is ideal for intimate ceremonies, welcome parties, and private events, providing a more personal experience while maintaining refined style and comfort.
Main Palapa (Main Room)
For your reception dinner, the Main Palapa—also known as the Main Room—offers a beautifully designed dining space that blends elegance with relaxation. This area ensures a seamless transition from ceremony to reception, completing your celebration in one place.
Destination Wedding Services
We specialize in destination weddings in Puerto Vallarta, with a strong focus on atmosphere, entertainment and visual impact, so couples can plan with confidence from anywhere in the world.
Add the details that make your night unforgettable: music and entertainment, floral décor and fireworks. Floral décor and fireworks are quoted on request, because we like to talk with you first to understand your vision. Book your DJ, photographer, transportation, florals or fireworks through us and your planner coordinates them for you. You can also bring your own DJ or florist with an outside vendor fee; vendors you hire on your own are not coordinated by Oscar’s.
Give your guests a taste of Mexico with a tequila tasting at our own distillery, featuring Grand Bay by Oscar’s tequila.
Transportation for your wedding party and guests is available on request. We also host welcome parties, rehearsal dinners and recovery brunches for the rest of your wedding weekend.
Wedding Menus & Open Bar
Oscar’s is a restaurant first, open every day of the year. Your wedding dinner is prepared by the same chefs who cook for our guests daily, not by an outside caterer, and our Mexican and cosmopolitan cuisine is one of the reasons couples fall in love with Oscar’s. If you are in town before your wedding, come dine with us and taste it for yourself.
Start with a cocktail hour of signature cocktails, followed by a three-course plated dinner (starter, entrée and dessert) and a national open bar. Kids have their own menu.
We accommodate vegetarian options and dietary restrictions, so every guest enjoys a delicious dinner. Included with your dinner: full furniture, setup and teardown, charger plates, special event water goblet, flatware, linens and napkins.

No venue fee — build your wedding with the options you want. Starting prices for 2026 and 2027 weddings (food and beverage prices plus 18% service charge):
- Wedding ceremony in our garden, with Cross Back chairs, sound, coordination and lounge: starts from $16,800 MXN.
- Wedding dinner with three-course menu: starts from $1,600 MXN per person.
- Cocktail hour and national open bar packages available.
- Kids menu available for children under 12.

How many guests can Oscar’s host for a wedding?

Why choose Oscar’s instead of a beach, hotel or villa wedding?
Oscar’s is centrally located on Isla Río Cuale, 5 minutes from the Malecón, so guests arrive easily. It is not a hotel, so you won’t share the space with other hotel guests, and it is not on a public beach, so there are no beach vendors during your ceremony. Compared with a villa, you have gardens and a palapa designed for weddings, our own kitchen and bar, full furniture and an events team on site.
Who prepares the food for the wedding?
Our own chefs. Oscar’s is a restaurant open every day of the year, so your wedding dinner comes from the same kitchen that serves our guests daily, not from an outside caterer. If you are in Puerto Vallarta before your wedding, come dine with us and taste the food for yourself.
Do my guests have to stay at a specific hotel?
No. Oscar’s is not a hotel, so there is no room block or minimum number of guests that must stay with us. We are close to many hotels and vacation rentals in downtown Puerto Vallarta, so your guests can choose where to stay.
Is there a venue fee?
No. Oscar’s does not charge a venue fee. You only pay for the ceremony, food and beverages you choose, and for weddings of 70 guests or more the venue is private at no extra cost.
How much does a wedding at Oscar’s Puerto Vallarta cost?
It depends on your guest count and the options you choose. For 2026 and 2027, the ceremony starts from $16,800 MXN and the wedding dinner starts from $1,600 MXN per person, plus 18% service charge on food and beverages. Request a quote for your exact price.

Can we host our whole wedding weekend at Oscar’s?
